Liverpool v West Ham

Liverpool 4/9, Draw 4/1, West Ham 11/2

Liverpool 6+ corners in the match, West Ham 3+ corners, West Ham 1+ card, Firmino 1+ shot on target – 9/4

Liverpool look to have got their season back on track with a tremendous 1-0 victory over Manchester City on Sunday. They looked back to their best with a solid defensive play, even with Milner filling in at right back, and a rejuvenated Salah. West Ham have had a very mixed start to their season and find themselves in 13th place before todays trip to Anfield. Moyes’ men have won two of their last 3 fixtures, but they’ll find a tougher test infront of them this evening.

I’ve looked at quite a few markets today to put something together.

First is the classic corner market where I find myself looking more often than not. Liverpool have taken 39 corners in their 5 home matches this season at an average of 7.8 per match. West Ham rack up even more impressive numbers with 40 corners in their 5 away matches this season, average 8 per away match. However, I don’t expect West Ham to attack as much as they have done in recent away matches so I’m going to tone that down a bit. Liverpool 6+ corners and West Ham 3+ corners fall well in line with their stats so that’s where I’m sticking. If you’re feeling brave, then you can knock that West Ham number up a bit.

Next is the cards market. We’re keeping it simple here just to add some more value. West Ham average 1.2 yellow cards per match this season so I’m going for West Ham to receive 1+ card.

Lastly we’re looking for 1+ Shot on Target from Bobby Firmino. The Brazillian has averaged 1.6 shots on target per game this season so we’re hoping he gets the service tonight.

Score Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 West Ham

Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur

20:15 BST, Wednesday

TV Channel: Amazon Prime

Manchester United 11/8, Draw 5/2, Spurs 15/8

2+ Manchester United Cards, 1+ Tottenham Cards, Over 3 Tottenham Corners & 1+ Antony Shot on Target – 3/1

In what could be a key battle for Top 4, Spurs make the trip to the Northwest and Old Trafford. United have had the better of this fixture in recent times, winning the last 3 matches between these two sides. However, Spurs are enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League season so will fancy their chances against an inconsistent United side.

I fancy a draw in this match so we’re looking outside of the normal handicap or result markets.

Starting with cards. United average 2.7 cards per match this season and with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro in the starting XI you can see why. I’m going for 2+ United cards in this one. Spurs have a better disciplinary record but are no saints themselves, picking up 1.9 cards per match this campaign. Looking for 1+ Spurs card here.

Spurs have taken 55 corners so far this season, at an average of 5.5 per match. With a United team who like to sit deep and play on the counter Spurs should have plenty of corner opportunities. I like the look of 3+ Spurs corners tonight.

Finally, we move onto the latest of United’s big money signings. Antony has joined the Premier League with a huge pricetag to justify and he’s not done a bad job so far. He’s trigger happy so we’re expecting him to pepper the goal today. Just 1+ Antony Shot on Target is needed for us in this evening’s fixture.

Score Prediction: Manchester United 2-2 Spurs
