15:10 - Doctor Bravo 7/2 1pt win
Clearly regarded highly enough by Gordon Elliot to run in the Supreme at Cheltenham, DOCTOR BRAVO could be up to the task now dropping back in class today. He broke his maiden tag over hurdles at the 2nd attempt and then went on to run a blinder when being beaten just over a length by Fil Dor and Sharjah.
His run in the Supreme had promise as he just looked to lack the pace to go with the main protagonists when the taps were turned on, he was also tight for room at the bend and Russell didn’t really give him a hard time in the end. With that in mind, he has hopefully came out of the race well and the step up in trip shapes like it should really suit him, he should be a live player.

16:55 - Sir Gerhard 5/1 1pt ew
Willie Mullins’ horse was never on my radar for the Cheltenham Festival, but he was clearly on a lot of radar’s as he was very well backed to go off 3/1 for the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase.
Although he finished 9th from just 10, I am happy to put a line through that as for me, he was never going to get the trip, I thought his petrol light was on in the Ballymore so 3 miles was never even something I would have thought about. Despite making early errors in that contest SIR GERHARD did warm to his task and did travel well throughout, he is clearly a classy operator and a drop back in trip today will help him massively and if his jumping remains in tact he could make his odds of around 5/1 look silly afterwards.
