With an opening mark of 91, BATTLE DUBAI goes handicapping. 91 looks to be a generous mark after delivering performances that wouldn't have put him out of place in listed company.
Winning comfortably on his debut at Haydcock, BATTLE DUBAI finished third on his second outing. This was followed up with a very impressive win at Newcastle where the selection quickened nicely within the final furlong.

DELIGHTFUL would have been given her mark after her second place finish at Thurles earlier this month. Since then third place, Drummin Life, stormed home at Gowran this week. Suggesting that DELIGHTFUL is on a favourable mark.
The main challenger will be Devore who won over this distance at Curragh, however this drop back to 7f for DELIGHTFUL should suit well, and see further improvement.
The A P O'Brien trained horse is being shaped up for an entry into the Irish 1,000 Guineas next May, and with Seamie Heffernan on board, it all shapes nicely for a strong run today.
