With a number of new injuries, and some rising stars, we've suggested some potential waivers for your draft teams.
QB:
Justin Fields - Coming off a season best game against the Vikings. 208 passing yards, completing 15 of 21 passes. Although Chicago are predominantly one of the top 5 rushing teams in the NFL, Fields himself added 47 yards as well as having a rushing touchdown himself ruled out for a whopping 52 yards. Fields faces a Washington side ranked defensively in the bottom 3 and is worth a pickup ahead of the first bye week.
RB:
Kenneth Walker III - RB1 for the Seahawks Penny suffered a season ending injury fracturing his fibula on Sunday at New Orleans, making way for Walker claiming the RB1 spot for the rest of the season. Rookie Walker rushed for 1636 yards and 18 touchdowns meriting Seattle to select the explosive RB at pick 41. Walker can expect to see a huge influx in touches now on and is the number 1 waiver wire pick up this week in all fantasy leagues.
Eno Benjamin - James Connor left the field for the second time this season and it’s becoming increasingly alarming how much more this can go on for. Moreover, RB2 Darrel Williams also had a limited role in the backfield against a hard Eagles defense resulting in his status to be questionable for this weeks matchup against Seattle. Benjamin faces a Seahawks team who have allowed 84 points the last two weeks going into the matchup potentially as RB1/2 status for the Cardinals, he’s worth a one week punt at this stage.
WR:
Jakobi Meyers - Breakout gameweek against the worst ranked defensively team in the football league Detroit. Meyers registered 7 catches from 8 targets for 111 yards scoring one touchdown. Meyers has established himself as the WR1 in a hot and cold Patriots offense. With Mac Jones nearing his return, he still remains a hot add with good potential against an average upcoming schedule the next few weeks.
Rondale Moore - Huge breakout game at last for Moore in this Arizona offense. Recording 68 yards, catching seven of eight targets against the number one ranked defense this season. Moore can establish himself as the WR2 behind Hollywood Brown prior to Deandre Hopkins’ return from suspension in the looming weeks. Up against the Seahawks, he’s worth the stream this week.
TE:
Hayden Hurst - The absence of Tee Higgins on Thursday night enabled Hurst to break out against a tough Ravens side. Heavy on the pass, Cincinnati and Joe Burrow will continue to use all his weapons in a stacked offense. Hurst looks set to have a steady influx of targets week in week out.
