12:45 - Nollyador 7/1 0.5pt ew
I am not convinced that the favourite should be so short for this contest and would rather take a chance on NOLLYADOR at the odds for the Emma Lavelle team. He showed good form in bumpers in four starts and was in the process of running a nice race on hurdles debut at Aintree before an error towards the end halted his progress. He has been declared with a first-time tongue tie today which will hopefully settle him down as he can be quite keen and if he runs his race, he has enough ability to get involved at the back end of this race today.

13:50 - Famous Bridge 9/2 1pt win
When the late Trevor Hemmings purchased this horse he would have had fences in mind, so all that he did over hurdles would have been a bonus. This son of Fame And Glory showed good form over timber, and he has the scope to improve further over bigger obstacles starting off his mark of 128. Although the favourite was impressive last time, I’m not sure the form was up too much and if FAMOUS BRIDGE can jump well on his first attempt he looks overpriced at around 9/2.
Exeter
15:15 - Equus Dreamer 7/2 1pt win
This son of Getaway made a very satisfying return at Carlisle this term and the handicapper has been very generous to drop him by 2lb for that effort. The ground had dried out a lot that day and was nowhere near the going description according to Kim Bailey, this was a negative to EQUUS DREAMER who loves testing conditions. He is still unexposed and could relish Exeter today and hopefully David Bass can get him into a good rhythm out in front and make him hard to pass.
