While most people will turn their attention to the champions league, I’m looking domestically for tonight's BTTS bet.
Coventry v Rotherham
Coventry sit in the bottom three and will see this as a good opportunity to kick start their season, however with games in hand the table doesn’t tell the full story. In 13 games they have found the net 12 times, an average of 0.92 per game and they have conceded 14, an average of 1.07 per game.
Rotherham lost 4-2 last time out and their goal difference is minus 5 for their away games. In 15 games this season they have scored 18, an average of 1.2 per game and they have conceded 17, an average of 1.1 per game.
I can see both team scoring here at 4/5 and my score prediction is Coventry to win 2-1 at 15/2
Burnley v Norwich
Burnley are the leagues top scorers with 29 in 16 games, an impressive average of 1.8 per game. They scored 4 at weekend in a second half fight back at Sunderland having been 2-0 down to eventually win 4-2. They have conceded 15 which is almost a goal per game. In their last 9 matches there has been a goal at both ends on 7 occasions.
Norwich let a two goal lead slip at week, eventually drawing 2-2 away at Sheff Utd. In their 16 games this season they have scored 23, an average of 1.4 and conceded 18, and average of 1.1. In their last 8 matches, both teams have found the net on 6 occasions.
This screams both teams to score at 4/6 and my prediction is that Burnley will edge it 2-1 at 8/1
Peterborough v Accrington
Peterborough sit pretty in 4th place and have scored 28 goals in their 15 games so far, averaging 1.8 per game. They do concede plenty too however, more than 1 per game so far, 18 in total so goals are always expected.
Accrington sit in the bottom half having played a game less. They lost 3-2 at the weekend which continues the theme of us seeing plenty of goals. They have scored 16 this season, an average of 1.2 per game and conceded 22, an average of 1.5.
I can see both scoring at 8/13 with Peterborough running out 3-1 winners at 11/1
