With Arsenal vs Man City postponed in game week 12 to allow The Gunners to catch up their European Game this seems an ideal week to play the Free Hit Chip.
Many teams like mine will be filled with stars from the top two clubs, I have as many as SIX! Impossible to bench them all and selling them will lead to point loss and then the challenge of getting them back in. So it’s time to assess this game week matches and find some ideal players to score points.
First things first when using the free hit chip, you need to bring in some cheap subs as they won’t be needed or used. So spending as little as possible on them allows you to spend more on your starting 11.I brought in Ward (4.0) Williams (4.0) Andreas (4.5) Gibbs White (4.5)Now for the starting 11.
The key is not to focus too much on previous points, future games etc as they are literally only playing this one game week then your team goes back to how it was. So I have picked players with games that jump out at me.
Brighton and Palace have home games against low scoring Forrest and Wolves. I think both have a strong chance of clean sheets so have brought in the Palace goalkeeper Guaita and defender Andersen along with Brighton defenders Veltman and Dunk.
My fourth defender is Trippier from Newcastle who is at home to Everton. Good chance of a clean sheet and he is also a threat with set pieces. Newcastle are in great form so I have also added midfielder Bruno and striker Wilson. Hopefully a few goals with some involvement from them both.
My next midfielder was going to be James Maddison but he is suspended following his booking at weekend so I have went for Harvey Barnes who is at home to Leeds. Strong chance of a goal or assist. That leaves me with three more players. I have tripled up with Liverpool who are at home to West Ham. Firmino who is in red hot form. Nunez who hadn’t quite hit the ground running yet but I feel could explode at any point and Salah who hopefully has his confidence back after getting the winner against City. I have made Salah my captain too as can see goals and he also takes penalties.
Notice all my players are playing at home. Fingers crossed for a high scoring week.
