Chelsea v Fulham: Preview and Shooting Cheat Sheet

Friday night football sees us head to West London for a fiercely anticipated derby match. The sides met less then a month ago, where Fulham won 2-1, prompting “we want our club back” chants from the Chelsea fans. A lot has happened in west London since then with Chelsea splashing the cash on Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk among others, and we can expect to see both tonight, with the latter expected to start. It wasn’t just Chelsea that strengthened in West London though as Fulham themselves were busy and brought in midfielder Lukic from Torino, as well as having Mitrovic back, who missed that 2-1 win.

The feeling around Stamford Bridge is one much more of excitement than when they travelled to Craven Cottage and I expect them to be very much up for this. Mudryk looked extremely sharp off the bench against Liverpool, completing more dribbles than any other player, despite playing just 36 minutes. He came very close to opening the scoring after a great run, and then laid on 2 fantastic passes to Chukwuemeka which weren’t taken. It was however, a very promising cameo and I expect similar against Fulham tonight.

The Ukrainian is a goal scoring winger, he scored 3 goals in the UCL group stage for Shakhtar and 7 in 12 games for them in the league, including 3 in his last 4 games for them. If Chelsea can get the ball to him, I expect Mudryk to give Fulham real problems tonight, and he looks fantastic value to score. Binkbet have boosted him to 7/2 to score anytime, which is the best price market wide, and one I’ll be taking.

Bets:

Mudryk to score anytime - 7/2 (BinkBet Boost)
